“Cigar Palate Wheel”

I created this wheel as a guide to the tasting notes in cigars. The wheel is an idea based on taste, aroma and body. Most people can taste the primary groups, which consist of the basic notes, bitter, salty, sour and sweet. The secondary group have the more common notes, wood, earth, vegetal and spice. This group is synonyms for the aromas, crisp, fermented, creamy and strong. The third group (composite group) have more the specific notes, based on the primary and secondary group. I.e. cocoa is a composite of primary bitter, secondary earth (creamy) and a full body.
